What this is

RemoveAISlop is a writing tool. It flags phrases that large language models over-produce, and offers plainer replacements. You keep every right you had in whatever you write, before and after using it.

What the score means, and what it does not

The score measures the density of flagged phrases in your text. It is not a detector of authorship, and neither this nor any other tool can determine whether a person or a model wrote something.

Do not use RemoveAISlop to accuse anyone of anything: to grade a student, screen a candidate, or judge a freelancer. Every phrase in the catalogue was ordinary English before a model overused it, and treating a score as proof will produce false accusations against people who simply write plainly.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and API key private. Tell us if either is exposed and we will issue a new key. One account is for one person; plans that include multiple seats say so.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • Process text you have no right to process
  • Generate or launder content intended to deceive people about who wrote it
  • Resell the output as your own detection or humanising service
  • Automate requests beyond your plan's limits, or work around those limits

Plans and billing

Free accounts get a daily allowance. Paid plans are billed in advance, renew until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for. If the service does not do what this page says it does, ask for a refund and you will get one.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Always read the output before you publish it. Rewrites are produced mechanically and may alter meaning. What you post is your responsibility.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks the acceptable-use terms above, and will say why.
